Press Release
NEW WEB SITE PAYS USERS TO READ E-MAIL AND
PAYS FOR REFERRALS
LOS ANGELES – Monday, 16th August 1999 – Web
surfers can make money by reading their e-mail and by signing up their friends
and colleagues to do the same at AllCommunity.com, a new web site launched
today. The site also is the first to feature a generous affiliate marketing
payout program that rewards customers for the lifetime value of their referrals.
Traditional affiliate programs, like those offered by Amazon.com, pay only for
the first sale, but don’t pay additional commissions on future sales.
“We are the first company to come up with the concept
of sharing the wealth. This payment plan is similar to plans used by highly
successful and ethical Multi Level Marketing (MLM) companies,” says Ezer L.G.
Ratchaga, president of AllCommunity.com. “The ultimate goal of
AllCommunity.com is to share the wealth of the online economy with the
individual by rewarding each community member whenever one or more of
their referrals gets online, reads their e-mails, views an ad, participates in
contests, or, simply doing some online shopping!”
Like many MLM programs, the person who refers others to
the program will get commissions on sales made by the people he signs up, as
well as the people they sign up. AllCommunity.com also will pay commissions for
all sales made by a member’s core group for as long as they remain members.
This plan is way more generous than existing affiliate marketing programs, which
generally pay a commission only for the first purchase.
“The concept is to pay each member a small percentage
of all profits from their referrals, and all these small portions can add up
significantly,” he said. “The Internet is still in its infancy, so your
future earnings is unlimited! It is not impossible to make tens of thousands of
dollars, or even hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
The money to fund the commissions will come from
advertisers who want to reach the members of AllCommunity.com.
Because of the large number of members in
AllCommunity.com, the company will be able to negotiate discounts ranging from
5-25 percent from major retailers and online vendors such as Amazon.com, eToys
and Music Boulevard. The company plans to pass the savings along to their
members and to pay commissions on those sales as well.
“If you are alone, you almost never get the better
part of the deal. Now, as a vast network, AllCommunity.com has the titanic power
to lock in deals with online merchants the world over, bringing discounts,
cashbacks, and other rewards and benefits to every single AllCommunity.com
Member,” he said. “AllCommunity.com is simply a community of online surfers
who have come together to pool their consumer strength so that it forms a
powerful organization that can get special deals with merchants the world
over.”
In the near future, commissions also will be paid for
purchases of any product when the buyer uses a VISA or MasterCard from
AllCommunity.com. The company is currently negotiating contracts with vendors.
“AllCommunity.com’s plan to offer MLM type
commissions raises the ante for all companies in the highly competitive
affiliate marketing arena,” said Daniel Janal, author of “Online Marketing
Handbook.” “Companies have used the affiliate marketing model successfully
to attract new customers but they have done so by paying a very small fee.
AllCommunity.com’s aggressive new model makes the referrer a true partner
because they will share in the proceeds of the sales on an ongoing basis. Other
companies using affiliate marketing programs will need to examine this new model
because members/referrers will go with the company that offers them the best
pay. There is no loyalty in this price-sensitive marketplace.”
Unlike MLM programs that are responsible for much of
the spam and junk e-mail that vex most Internet users, AllCommunity.com has a
“no spam” policy which forbids its members to market this service by sending
unsolicited e-mails to people they don’t know. Members who spam will be
removed from the service. Members are advised to send e-mails to their friends
and colleagues only.
“Personalized e-mails are much more effective than
large group lists,” Ratchaga said.
Membership in AllCommunity.com is free and lasts for a
lifetime or until the member decides to cancel, or violates company policies. A
higher level of membership which provides for a wider net of commissioned sales
is available for a one-time initiation fee of $40. Members who need help with
marketing will find sample scripts, flyers and e-mail messages on the
AllCommunity.com web site. They also can check their account balances online.
